Check the ARP TRIGGER IN socket at back make sure it s not shorted?? - stick a jack into it and out again - perhaps could be why cos it s stuck on the first

Depending on how out of tune your synth is, you will get that problem - but even if its in tune you will still get - though not as much - so its not really
