Downside of method B (my choice too BTW, and what I was poorly referring to earlier) is that you have to Erase the measures before and after Bar 2 seperately

Each ROm gets it s own ID, and thus bank. Select the preset you want to use on that channel, and then press Audition to see the MSB and LSB values for that ROM

Well, the original MPC s PPQ is 96, which is quite coarse (96 PPQ = 256th note triplets). In comparison, the XL-7 is 384, many software seqs are 480 or 960.
