Does anyone know another patch librarian/editor other than Sound Diver or MidiOX. i couldn't get either one to work. Sound Diver gives me error messages each time i send sysex data, and midiox disables my midi ports. thanks for any replies...

I use MIDI Quest for all my gear. (ok busted, I'm not an xx-7 owner 'yet') They're support list includes the Proteus 2000 series. I dont know if the xx-7 series are included, but worth an email. http://www.squest.com/Windows/MidiQuest-About.html Joe --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "noidealism" <watson_clint79@h...> wrote:

I hardly see MidiOX as a patch/librarian but more as a general purpose MIDI tool for SysEx dumps and monitoring. Which is usually rock solid, no matter the operating system. What do you mean by it "disabling" your MIDI ports? What MIDI card do your computer have? If you encouter problems with both, perhaps it is an issue with the hardware, not the software. noidealism wrote: > and midiox disables my midi ports. -- Sebastien, -=-=-=-=-= Useless Invention: Fur sink.

well, when i install midiOX, my midi ports from my 'ego-sys miditerminal 4140' interface are no longer present. when i go into cubase, they are not there. but when i uninstall midiOX, they come back. i haven't spent much time troubleshooting so maybe i should do that. any suggestions on what to do? --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "[Mowah]" <poumtschak@f...> wrote: > I hardly see MidiOX as a patch/librarian but more as a general purpose > MIDI tool for SysEx dumps and monitoring. I don't know if you did this already, but maybe the latest drivers would help (depending on the computer OS): http://www.esi-pro.com/download.php?mode=view&division=1&pid=36&osid=&type=1&page=&id=56 Alternatively, you could contact MidiOX & ESI/EGO-SY support about this issue. Or search the Cubase forums at http://www.cubase.net You did not mention if E-Loader was okay BTW. As far as librarian goes, this is the only one available that supports the Command Stations line (AFAIK). Hope this helps. noidealism wrote: > well, when i install midiOX, my midi ports from my 'ego-sys > miditerminal 4140' interface are no longer present. -- Sebastien, -=-=-=-=-= Don't rush me.
