Outside of the embedded systems world, I don't think that people would
consider the 332 able to address "large chunks of memory". By using SRAM
and the built in chip select system, the 332 can get at 11 whole megabytes
of memory, one megabyte being the boot ROM. On the bus with a bunch of
glue...16 megabytes minus the stuff up at the top and minus the boot ROM.
I don't think that you could find a 16MB SDRAM stick if you tried.
If you need large Flash, try a Disk-On-Chip.
If you need large memory plus the TPU, an MPC565 would probably be better.
