OK--I just went through most of the TOTAL CONTROL parameters for you. I compared which parameters reset themselves at power down and which were retained in memory. I am sure the VZ-10m has different settings but maybe the parameter retention is the same. 00 - MASTER TUNE - retained 01 - TRANSPOSE - retained 02 - MEM PROTECT - reset to OFF (I only checked INTERNAL) 03 - SAVE/LOAD - Load ---- CARD/MIDI - retained ---- DATA - retained 04 - CHANNEL - retained ---- TOTAL - retained 05 - MIDI DATA ---- PROGRAM - retained ---- EXCLUSIVE - reset to disabled ---- DEF CONTROL - retained ---- OVERFLOW - retained 06 - CARD FORMAT [not tested] Anyhow, I hope this helps. I would encourage you to power up, change all the settings, write them down as you go, power down then up, and compare which settings have been reset and which have been maintained. You should only need to do this once. Just be sure to check each menu items and each submenu item. Feel free to report your results here. Hope this helps.
