Too icy out tonight to venture down to the waterfront, Fran- I'm staying in
the house up on Prospect HIll and trying not to be too bummed about the CZ.
I did just pick up a Ensoniq EPS for nothing that had an easy-to-fix
failing floppy drive, so I suppose it all comes out in the wash.
It's been quite a joy learning about synth engines through this group and
others- the beauty of the engineers' visions made into copper traces and
quiet little microcrontrollers adds to the joy of the sounds that we make
with them.
Hope you're all staying warm tonight. If no one does have a donor
motherboard, I'll gladly send the rest of the CZ-3K out into the world to
fix up other machines. Hit me up if you're in need of a part- I believe
the rest of the components (LCD, interface board, chorus board, PSU,
etc...) are all ok.
