Hello,

who of you has a casio cz-5000 and maybe a scanned manual? :-) i have this synths a few years now, but i'm still waiting for the promised manual from the seller (i should give up on waiting, huh? hehe)

if i want to use the cz as a mono instrument, which out is the mono one? i know it shouldn't matter as long as i don't use the chorus, but i'd still like to know which one of the outs was meant by casio to function as mono-output...

Michael

Hi Michael,

I don't have a CZ5000 but a CZ-1 and planing -when I find the time- to scan
the (german) manual and upload it to the files area. Since as far as I know
Casio don't have problems when someone put manuals of older synths online...

Maybe that will help a bit...

hi michael,

it should be the left output - this is a convention found in many synths. btw: does the chorus of the 5000 sound like a waterfall close by as with my cz-1?

well, i have three synthesizers that use right as the mono output. so it can't be that many that use the left one :-) just wondered, because the right output has also a mix in addition. thought it might be that one for mono

well, the chorus doesn't sound like a waterfall, it's ok i'd say, but since i use it as a mono instrument it doesn't matter to me that much :-)
