hello everybody, i have some troubles with my A-190, maybe someone can help me... the problem is: my a-190 doesn´t give any gate information... the clock and the reset function are still working, but there is no other midi-information given to the outputs. is the another way to reset it (not mentioned in the manual-pdf) ? if not what chip(s) do i have to change? any advice would be very helpfull... thanks maise

Questions for further help: Does the Gate LED work ? Does the CV output work ? Have you tried to change the Midi channel (of the Midi transmitter or the A-190) ? Is the bus connection (CV and Gate) of the A-190 interrupted ? This is required only if another module that accesses the bus is used on the same bus board (e.g. A-185) ? If the Gate LED and the CV output are working but there is no Gate output the module has probably to be repaired (provided that no other module has access to same the bus). Best wishes Dieter Doepfer

hello Dieter Doepfer, the gate LED does not work... the cv output does work. Midi settings are correct (i tried every channel...) my a-110 is getting voltage from the bus (CV), but my adsr has no jumper (so i don´t know). it seems there is no gate-function at all. clock works as it should. thanks for the help... best regards maise

Very strange behaviour. I'm not the A-190 specialist in the company. Matthias Marass is the man who is responsible for final check and repair of the A-190. You may contact him directly: keyboards@doepfer.de. Maybe he has an idea what can be done before sending in the device for repair. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer
