It doesn't work any differently to the others, the manual lists the filter types if that's what you need?

I have the a100 Manuel and noticed the a106-6 didn't have a pdf.. New to this so just wanted a few patch ideas to get me going like most of the other doepfer PDFs have.. Is there a pdf for another filter which you can recommend looking at at ? Cheers jase

Oh right, umm I don't know.. I just tried different outputs and resonance settings. It's based on the Oberheim Xpander filter so maybe the manual for that?

Re: [Doepfer_a100] A106-6 XP filter

The manual I got with the Basis System 2 also did not have a page for that filter.

There is not much to know though.

Plug something into the audio input (and turn the level up) and then take the output from one of the jacks on the right side.

A is All Pass
H is High Pass
B is Band Pass
N is Notch
L is Low Pass

The number is the number of poles

4 = 4 pole = 24db/octave
2 = 2 poles = 12db/octave

FCV1 is control voltage that controls the Cutoff frequency. Patch in the output of an envelope generator or any other control voltage source.
FCV2 also controls the cutoff frequency but has the attenuator knob beside it so you can control how much.
QCV controls the resonance (Q, emphasis)

and the switch at the bottom just toggles between filter types on each of the output jacks eg: the bottom jack is either 1 pole low pass or if the switch is to the right it's 2pole low pass.

That's about it. Go crazy.

Scott
