A writable multi-cartridge for a VFX would require an EEPROM compatible with but significantly larger than the 28C256, and I haven t had a huge amount of luck

Remember a song is just a pointer to a set of sequences. To delete a song you need to be in song editor mode - to delete sequences you need to be in sequence
