I was lucky and managed to buy a brand new 8 \u201c drive here from a private seller here in the U.K. The CMI series 3 and CMI 2X use the same 8 R20; drives. Normally Mitsubishi , YE Data or Qume. My CMI 2X has two YE Data YD 180 drives.
SCSI is completely different. I was only thinking of using SCSI 50 pin standard because the pin amount matches the 50 pin of the 8 \u201c floppy.
I would be happy if I could extend drive 1 by 3 meters !
