I had similar problem with The r1800 and cx3200. Epson have this annoying habit of putting a counter linked to a software switch which switches the printer off when "Epson" decide you should change the waste ink pads. They can normally be washed out with warm water, dried and put back but you will need a software program to reset the counter to zero. You will not get this from Epson but if you go on line and Google about some you will find what you need. To avoid having the agro of washing out the pads in the future you can route the pipes out to a plastic container and just empty this when it fills up. You will still have to reset the counter when it reaches maximum again.I found Epson themselves very unhelpful in this matter. good luck Robin

Four screws on the front, bottom metal panel get you access to the waste pads. I use cotton cushion stuffing as a replacement. When you replace the metal, be sure to get it right or the vacuum will not be there. Notice how it fits into the printer when you remove it > > Anyone have the code for override on this error message. Pressing paper source, cut/eject, & paper feed turn on the printer -- execute all. (These are from my notes. Hopefully it'll be clear when you try it.) Paul www.PaulRoark.com

Well perhaps. In my service manual for a 7000 it shows it as a waste pad full error. The repair is new Waste Ink Pads, F box, Pump assembly, Cap Assembly, Head. In maintenance Mode 2 enter Counter Init Menu and initialize the Waste Ink counter and Cleaning Counter. Eric Do you have a manual? I seem to recall getting that and being able to reset it myself. It has been some time though. Eric Neilsen Photography 4101 Commerce Street Suite 9 Dallas, TX 75226 http://e.neilsen.home.att.net http://ericneilsenphotography.com Skype ejprinter _____
