A couple of other comments on the PSIM. If you plan to quantize, quantize on the output, not the input. Since the voltage reference was chosen to be a multiple of a semitone (e.g. 83 mV), you can quantize by simply zeroing out the last 5 bits of the output value. Also, if you pla

I have a Roland SC-7 (Sound Canvas) MIDI synth in a 1U MOTM format module that I use. This version of the Sound Canvas has no user controls; everything is controlled by MIDI. It makes it a pain to manually set program changes, etc. I just wrote a little program that uses the PSIM
