cv cluster, working, I think?

cv cluster, working, I think?

2003-10-07 by spgjmf

hello all,

well I have just completed the cv cluster module and it "seems"
to work. I have not spent a lot of time with it, but
I have a few question if anyone has a working one ....

first
I am only using 6 outputs, abc and ijk.
at first I had a jumper in place as shown.
output looked like 9.44, 4.53, 4.53, 4.53, 4.53, 5.00 ( fixed 9v in
top and 5 in bottom ( mod)).

or something like that. I removed the jumper and get
finer steps all different, which is what I excepted to get.

oh, no chip in the 3rd scocket.

where should the jumper go - I looked careful, but I did
not get it right the first time. any one have a pic they could
provide?

it drove my serge pco and DSG just fine...

I am very impressed with Ken's pcb layout and designs....
thanks Ken. Can I order a pony too....must say they are
magical.

best - Jeff

All of the voltages should be the exact same distance apart. The actual
voltages will be different, depending on the inputs, but the distance
between A and B should equal that between B an C, C and F, F and I, I and J
and J and K, assuming you havent linked the S,Y, X or T terminals.

Between pin 3 and 12 of the unused chip location.

thanks Ken

I got it. I figure out the jumper, which is
the same as your suggestion. I put a wire on the
resistors, I think now it would be easier to
put a piece in the 3rd chip socket pins ...

anyway it works! I get even voltages between outs.
all with in a hundredth of a volt, good enough for me.

now I got use it .

thanks
