Find a combined spreadsheet of the midi files of the competitions of 2002, 2004, 2006, 2009 See in "Files > e-Competition". The midi files can be find here: http://www.piano-e-competition.com/ecompetition/midi_2002.asp http://www.piano-e-competition.com/ecompetition/midi_2004.asp http://www.piano-e-competition.com/ecompetition/midi_2006.asp http://www.piano-e-competition.com/ecompetition/midi_2009.asp Downloading is quite easy using a download manager (like for instance Reget Deuxe)

I have a millennium edition DC3 Pro that has developed an issue with the key sensor on a couple of keys on the high end of the keyboard. The sensors aren't completely out, but rather seem to have only a couple of levels of resolution, so sometimes the keys don't send the midi output when struck, and sometimes they do. Even when they do, however, the output is very "coarse" for those two keys. In all other respects the piano is operating 100% correctly. My question is: Is this likely to be a bad sensor that will need to be replaced, or is it possible that it is a dirty sensor that could somehow be cleaned and not need replacing. Before taking things apart and trying to clean the keys at that level, I thought I'd find out if it is a losing mission and I just need to call a technician and prepare to buy new sensors. Phil

I am planning to add the 2008 files, but haven't had the opportunity and time yet. But may be I can profit from your work. So, are you planning to upload your 2008 spreadsheet? best regards ________________________________

I could be something fell between the keys. Are those two keys next to each other? It could also be a piano action problem. Is this a MarkIII model? I doubt the sensors need to be replaced. First, look for a foreign object, then check the action regulation. Then the key sensors can br adjusted in maintenance mode, and that may require a technician. I think with a tiny bit of work, and the latest version of DKVBrowser this information can be made to import directly into a Mark IV, with information in the comments where it doesn't fit into the song title. Any interest? ________________________________

Carol, Thanks. Yes, the two keys in question are a black and white key adjacent. I'll pull things down and look to see if there is any obstruction, then regulate the action on the keys. I just wanted to know I wasn't on a fool's errand before I took a half day doing that. While the DC3 Pro is it's own beast, I think it's mostly a Mark III variant with higher resolution sensors and servos. It uses the DKC500RW controller and was built in 2000. _____ From: disklavier@yahoogroups.com [mailto:disklavier@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Carol Beigel Sent: Wednesday, September 23, 2009 6:22 PM To: disklavier@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [disklavier] DC3 Pro Key Sensor Question I could be something fell between the keys. Greetings Kevin,
I think I finally got all (ha ha) of the errors corrected in my listing. I found some inconsistencies on the Yam
site which caused me to make some errors and then made a nice bunch of my own in excel. Personally I can't imagine
why anyone would want to listen to the E-Comp files, many of which are excellent, without being able to know what you are selecting.
However I seem to be alone in what I think is important. I am thrilled that I have all 1340 titles in Itunes
as MP3 files with tags that display in the files window. Unfortunately I don't think that the DKV will reliably play MP3 files
due to the phase shift encoding. Since there is no standard way to add text tags to WAV files, it seems that the perfect
solution is the DKVBrowser.
I am not aware of how to upload files to Yahoo groups so I'll put the text file on my
web site at:
http://spencerserol ls.com/Files4Dow nload.html will be about half way down the page and linked as E-Comp-text
the file name once downloaded will be yamtitle.zip and is a tab delimited text file that can be viewed in excel.
If anyone uses MIDI files and wants to add text keywords to them, I have a program that will do so using this
listing.
I have all of the files on the list in XP format when available. If anyone has files that are no longer available I will add them to the list
if the files can be gotten. There are a few which were withdrawn and there are a few dead links on the Yam site.
To eliminate ambiguity I have added the date to the file names as there are a few file names that exist in more
than one year.
This means that to have a match between files and the listing, you need to add (year) to the end of the file name before the extension.

Greetings Kay,
not planning on uploading it but can. i just merged your list with mine and made the formats uniform so we both have file
