Yep, I know there are some Akai tools out there.
Wav <> AkaiS1000 was not my main focus at all.
I wanted
- to be able to read/write Akai floppy disks in Windows XP (--> which
is still a problem today, and ADisk doesn't even always work in
DOS...)
- to have a converter between Akai and Emax (--> to have a bridge
towards other sample conversion tools that don't support Emax but do
support Akai S1K)
Anyway, to make that Emax/Akai conversion feature, I needed Wavs from
Akai S1000 (as a starting point for testing) so I simply made that
function first. It's a very easy conversion, took me less than 1
hour :-)
