EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

G'day all, 

Wondering if any of you could recommend any sample loop libraries 
that contain MAINSTREAM jazz drum loops. I'm after everything from 
brushes played at ballad tempo, thru straight-ahead swing feels in 2, 
3 & 4, tempi up to 260BPM and hopefully some "big band" style hits at 
various tempi.

The "wish list" would also include up to 8 bar patterns and 
availability as REX 2.

I've been disappointed with "NY drum sessions" (not enuff jazz) 
and "Tony Mason - Steamin" (everythang 110BPM or slower)

Please advise

Peter Erskine's "Living Drums" has very good jazz stuff, but in a somewhat 
limited amount.

There are a number of downloadable audio loops 
here. While the loops are generated from midi files,
their kits and programming sound so good, that 
you'd swear they were live.
I haven't listened to all that's here, so I can't guide you 
beyond the above link. I have heard some jazz loops 
however.The AKAI downloadable files seem to be
the ones that are laid out more categorically.

Try ³jazzistic² or ³on a jazz tip²; if your looking for drums, the first one
is your choice, if your looking for instruments loops, go with the second
one.
