ESX24 Path Alert

ESX24 Path Alert

2004-02-23 by J. Arthur Lee

I need to duplicate what I am doing to nail this down exactly, but in
OS X, I am sometimes getting an alert when I choose a sample in ESX24
that two copies of the sound exist and an option to choose between them
with the full path displayed.
I'd rather keep the samples in the same folder as Logic, so if an
installer has created more than one copy...
where is that other group of sounds?

Is there a preference I can set for ESX 24 to always look in a specific
place for the samples?

Don t worry with that window, it will only prompt once (the very first time
you load the sound), it will remember your pick and never come back (apart
if the samples or the drive is missing). Simply pick the drive you want.

Btw, you should spot where does extra copies are and nuke them (not if they
are back up of course...), that too would solve your prompting problem.
