New Wiard-related CD: I, Norton

2009-09-17 by ginorobair

Hey gang, I'm posting this even though many of you live outside of SF. But one of the tracks of my opera about Emperor Norton features the Noise Ring and other Wiard modules heavily (a rough version is on the opera's myspace page). In fact, the entire structure of the excerpt was

One of the many things I love about the Wiard system is the lack of prefab case solutions - we get to see these lovely blue modules appear in a wide variety of different places, sometimes surprising, sometimes melded in with very different sorts or equipment, and (not often enoug

The Wiard 300 system really didn't have a standard cabinet. There exists a metal bracket (in the blue finish) that was available (and maybe still is) that allowed one to mount a six module system in a standard 19" 6U cabinet. Also, Grant had a few custom cabinets made for custome

The only other detail is to switch one module to AR and the other to AD. Once this is done, the balance knob will control the sustain voltage level when the gate is held open. (The AR side is the sustain side). Cheers, GC --- In wiardgroup@yahoogroups.com, Mark Griffiths wrote: >
