Dear Florian, Thanks for raising the alarm when you spotted something dangerous, or thought so at least. Better safe than sorry! All I did was following the suggestion to insert a connector (e.g. XLR) as shown on page 2 of the manual DIY Kit #1 + 2 Installation guide (Version 2,

As far as I can see that's carrying 12V from the external 'brick' of a Doepfer DIY kit, not a 240v 'PSU 2'. Not my case, but I have a DIY kit and was considering doing something similar (not XLR though) to allow for disconnection of the power brick. Rich --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoo

I'd also like to add to the discussion that next to that doing ASR type stuff with an A152 strikes me as trying to kill a musquito with a nuclear rocket, the module is nice, has many features, but takes a huge (16HP!) amount of space in the system. So please Dieter consider a 4/8

As for the Plan B, no it's not a copy of the Serge since it uses a microcontroller unlike Serge in the 70s. (which would mean you'd need to use his microcontroller code or write new code besides copying his circuitry if one wanted to get into the ethics of copying modules). Serge

Dieter, say we have 4 vcos and a 4-stage ASR. We feed the VCOs a melody like A-C-D-E On the A-152, we would see (A 0 0 0) (A C 0 0) (A C D 0) (A C D E) etc On an ASR, we would see (A 0 0 0) (C A 0 0) (D C A 0) (E D C A) (A E D C) etc You are right in that after one cycle, we will
