Dear Dieter, Thank you for your reply. I'll feed the A-145's signal to the oscilloscoop and see if I can detect the change between with or without trigger. Rest assured I study the manuals as good as I can before posting questions to the group. Warm regards, Ton --- In Doepfer_a1

Hi! So I've got an A-190-3 MIDI to CV converter, which is really great... velocity and mod wheel sensitive too, fantastic... the only thing I can't seem to do with it is have the glide only apply to overlapping notes. If I set it to mininum, there's no glide, as I'd expect, and o

Typically you use a A-100BC cable ( http://www.analoguehaven.com/doepfer/a100bc/ ) to connect the two busses together. This also connects the left and right sides of each bus together. You can also connect the two bus boards with a standard 16-pin power cable. Just connect it bet

Hi Jakob, Thanks for the 'thought', I appreciate it. 1. I think you're right on not obtaining the desired result. 2. As I am in the process of 'building' a A-100 system and financial restrictions prohibit me from buying more than one module a month, I didn't get to purchasing a A

Hi Ton, try connecting A-145 reset in with A-160/161 clock outputs for better rythmical results or the output of a A-140 envelope. Not sure if the gate signal itself - even though you may technicly connect - offers the results you are looking for ... just a thought. yours Jakob -

Yes, by patching modules in with the patch cord into the main CV or gate jack on the front of the module causes you to you disconnect the module from listening to the bus. Not all the modules that could in theory follow the signals on the bus actually do. It's mostly your more ba

The wording of this confused me for a while too... If I understand correctly, it's fine to override the bus by plugging something into the *front* of a module to give it another gate or CV signal to pay attention to. What you *mustn't* do is feed two different signals into the bu

Another newbie question - use of A-190 GATE output

Hi group, The manual of the A-190 MCVS states: The gate output % and CV1 output & are automatically connected to the system bus of the A-100, so don't use patch cables to connect these, unless you have cut the links, or wish to connect to a module whose system bus isn't connected
