It is probably the fuse inside the Doepfer case. Mine has blown many times - usually after adding a new module or two. It seems that the power supply gets used to delivering a certain amount of power and if that changes the fuse blows. Well, that's what it seems like to me anyway

Is there and additional module I can use to mix the gates from this module and route them better. I feel as though I am not utilizing the gates most efficiently. I am using them to trigger reset on LFOs, and filters for percussive sounds, but I know there's more to do.

Hi Alan I built one of these (with a bit of extra direction from MirlitronOne - the guy in the video). I redesigned the enclosure to fit in with my gear. It works great with my modular. I was planning on powering it from the bus, but never got round to it. Should be fine I guess.

Well if you want the CEM sound then clearly only a CEM based filter will do. I also have a S1mk2 and love its 2/4/6 pole high pass filter. It is voltage compatible with the Doepfer/Eurorack standard - don't keep them apart! I tend to think of the S1mk2 as a giant Euro module inst

You could use a shuffled clock source generated by a computer or drum machine that outputs triggers. I use samples of triggers in Ableton Simpler or a Machinedrum which has a trigger generator built in. Both can easily shuffle a beat. Then patch that into the input of the A160. T
