Dieter, Many thanks for the reassurance. I'm relatively new to modular and I asked the question to improve my understanding as much as anything else. I was concerned that losses in the cable might cause smearing of the clock pulse shape that might lead to less robust triggering.

I have never experienced problems with "analogue" clock transfering over wide distances. I use 5 and 10 m cables all the day in my studio with passive multiples. I remember having a 30 meter asymmetric cable feeding clock from an 808 on stage to a Boss DE-200 delay in the rack at

The A-119 module should be good for this. It has a high gain input on a 1/4 jack, an adjustable gate and an envelope follower voltage for modulation. Just tried a piezo with mine and it generates triggers. Cheers, John > On 5 Apr 2017, at 05:16, Diego Ragnini diegora@free.fr [Doe

Hi Diego, Drum pads and the like use piezo transducers. You will need an amplifier with a high input impedance. Here is a link to a circuit for a trigger convertor: http://www.paia.com/ProdArticles/drumsens.htm Cheers, John > On 5 Apr 2017, at 05:16, Diego Ragnini diegora@free.fr
