hello joost, don't know if you are refering to the message you've replied, but the resonance ip-point for the vcf is not after the vcf, it is in the middle of the vcf feedback loop, like in the a108. the vca's of a107 and a109 are behind the filter and alter the overall output of

hello ingo, i totaly agree about clipping controls! the original ms20 filter has a wild and raw sound and these additional clipping controls(even symetrical/asymetrical clipping selection switch,if possible,would be great!) on the a106, would give the a106 module a real advantage

i haven't heard the ring mod on the doepfer, but the system 100's ring mod sounds wonderful. i use it alot. just don't rely on the mixer module of the system 100. . . things get a little muffled. output the ring mod into a doepfer mixer along with vco outputs. the sample and hold

Hi Thomas, my advice would be to get both CV and audio mixer first, and think about less basic modules (A-104 and A-113) later. When getting into modulars, I was also attracted to get as many exotic sound manglers as possible, failing to realize versatility and power of mixers. 1

Hi Thomas, my opinion: If you have room/funds for only one mixer, get a linear one, as it will do both audio and cv's more easily than a log mixer imo A-109 (I own it); think it's a great piece; sound is excellent and the built-in 2-way mixer & VCA make this a real versatile modu
