The BTS preset are specials presets using riff with 16 parts ( also the kit rythm riff use 4 or 5 part ). So to use them you have to go in the controller edit

Not sure this is it, but its worth a try. In song edit mode, check EVENT SOURCE fx. I usually set that to first pattern only, so that the fx settings stored
