[Doepfer_a100] Re: WANTED more suggestions, please...

Somehow I missed the underwater monster contest post. I'd be game for a single osc contest. Does it have to be an all Doepfer system? Does it have to be a Doepfer oscillator? Bryan >>> synaptic_music@yahoo.com 05/13/05 3:47 AM >>> sounds interesting. but maybe we should give the

Suitable PS for Doepfer

Just wanted to confirm this... The following power supply should be suitable for a Doepfer system, correct? http://safe.spsp.net/cgi-bin/debco/OLS12C.html I'm building my own enclosure and will be using Doepfer bus boards to distribute the power. Thanks. --Ben

hello martin, please be aware that the mcv24 lfo's and adsr outputs are not smooth, but stepped due to their digital origin. maybe you should buy just a few modules first and then add more modules later, this will give you a much better image of which modules you'll really need.

Hello everyone. I feel slightly ashamed finding the MCV24 midi interface on the doepfer-site. Seems it will do it all, or if it can´t there is probably another on the market that will do the job of complex-temposynced-multiple- lfo:s generating... I had only seen the A190-module

Hi Martin, just notice that you still have only one VCO in your system. Your question on the LFO makes me wonder wether you think you can sort mimick several VCOs with multiples and dividers as well. That won't work in all respects since it's important for several techniques to h

more rant, one of the patch-logistic problems is that, in order to try some (other that your own) one have to dismantle 'current' cabling . Matrix panel would be an awesome addition. so, how do groupers deal with that 'problem' ? all the best t On 5/12/05, selfoscillate wrote: >

Martin, As far as the 121/108 choice: I would definately say the 108 as it sounds really good. I particulary like the 6db/oct output which is so nice and subtile. It also has a 48db/oct output which will suit other needs. Then again also having an a121 I'd say the notch filter on

hello martin, regarding filters: if you don't need highpass and notch outs, the a108 is the better choice in my opinion, but that is only my personal preference. the a121 has a more neutral sound, while the a108 sounds "moogy". regarding a106/1 and a124, i'd prefer the a106/1. it

A-190 Hz/v

Hello! I'm desperately trying to control my Yamaha CS15 with one of my A190's. The gatepolarity is no problem and I've changed cv1 to Hz/v. But I can't get the scale right! It starts out finer on 125mv but then it increases a lot. The second octave should be 250mv but is 270mv. I
