hello shm1400, the a190 requires 50mA from the +5volts adapter(that leaves another 50mA of +5volts that the low cost adapter can handle)and 10mA from the +12/-12 volts supply.that means that the a190 requires a total of 60mA from the main PSU.this is because the +5volts low cost

According to Doepfer, the A190 midi to CV interface requires 10ma, but also requires a 5v source with 50ma. So, when I use the low cost 5v adapter, does this mean it is drawing a total of 60ma? Or is there a different way to add this up? Thanks in advance to anybody who can let m

if you're in the US i'd recommend redco, excellent product and very good prices. not sure if they have different colors though, might consider using different colored heat-shrink sleeves on the cable ends for color ID. will give you more options cable-wise. www.redco.com good luc

hello alexander, filters are always a matter of taste. in my opinion the a124 is a good choice for an unique sounding filter, especially if you like a bit of distortion and don't need a self-oscillating filter, but i'm not a fan of the a121. is price and space a big issue for you
