Hi It could be a problem with the jack socket below the pot instead of the pot itself. I believe that when a lead is plugged into this the knob becomes an attenuator of this signal. If the socket 'thinks' a cable is plugged in then that knob may be attenuating zero volts so not d

Hi! I gather that if you're sending the same CV signal to more than two VCOs, you need an A-185 to boost the signal... does anyone know how many VCOs you can accurately tune together once you've installed the A-185? Thanks, Zoë.

Hi Zoë, The A-185 has an output impedance that is effectively zero Ohms so it can drive very many VCOs without affecting scale accuracy. Depending on what you are driving your VCOs from already there may not be a need to use a buffered mult (i.e. A-185) for just a few VCOs if the

Incidentally, for anyone who's tone deaf or tone hard of hearing, you can use a voltmeter to check the voltages coming out of the sequencer. The semitones should all be 0.08(3) volts apart from each other. I described this in more detail over at http://bytenoise.co.uk/CV%252Fgate
