Hallo Norm, The disks I was trying to format don't have the notch so It's not the write enable thing...thanks anyway ...I am also the kind of person to forget about that sort of thing. drive 01 is somehow affected ...it won't write at all. I swapped drives physicly incl. drive op

I was experimenting with the page 8 sampling function. I used a direct output signal from my amp to feed the beast some sounds. I tried some more today and It's staring to work...I made some bad audio connections that distorted the signal going into the cmi. cheers! -- In Fairlig
