i had a expressionist for three years and ued it to drive my Serge with no problems whatso ever. check for grounding problems or bad cable. I had mine hooked up to dual CVI modules that gave me visual status to CV and Gate functions. Frivolous for most users here i'm sure but i f

Hmm, I did try establishing a common ground by connecting the black cable to any exposed metal on the Expressionist. Nothing seems to make a difference. There's a trilling effect in addition to whatever modulation I'm sending. Thanks! -------------- Original message -------------

I've tried every screw and opened the case and connected the ground to even more bare metal. I opened the Serge PSU to make sure the ground was in fact connected and it is, to 'com' on the PCB. My 1/4" to banana adapter/cables are made to spec, too. I've gone through every page a

Extremely simple solution: take a banana cable, then cut one of the plugs and replace it with a 1/8 plug (attach the wire to the tip lead of the plug). Then make sure to ground your Plan B rack to the Serge PS. Voila.........
