CGS51 error

An error has been pointed out to me re the CGS51. The diagram shows a section of a TL072 being used. The board actually uses a TL071. As such pin numbers differ to what is shown on the diagram. I will correct it shortly. THE PCB IS CORRECT. Ken ___________________________________

Finally - power and light! The nearly finished pentode preamp/soft clipper/beam modulator was fired up and tested last night. The beam modulator works very well. With two audio freq CV inputs and an audio grid input, it produces two very nice sideband outputs. The clipper does in

VC Divider Problem

Morning, I've got a Voltage Controlled Divider that I'm having some problems with. Regardless of how I set the offset trimmer, I can't seem to get a division smaller than around 1:9 or (on a lucky day) 1:8. Ideas of what might be wrong? TIA -- Les Mizzell

Update. By swapping transistors around I was able to get better and more similar response from my two Synthacon filters. I removed all 8 transistors and measured the gain of each, along with some extras that I had in my parts box. Then I repopulated the boards with matched parts.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm in the UK, so postage might be too much hassle. Theres a surplus place I use sometimes that does germanium diodes pretty cheaply, so I'll probably just order quite a few of those and pick out the ones that match best.
