That is fore sure possible thanks to the midi machines. I personally use the MD to drive a SidStation and a Juno-106 and it works fine. I would suggest anyway

It s really easy to build patterns from scratch on the MD. But it s better to create the drum kits at home, then you can tweak the sounds while playing live.

That buzz you have is loud! I think I can hear a _little_ bit of AC hum on my MD, and it s not dead silent as far as noise goes, but it s not nearly that bad.
