Go for the Palm TX (newegg.com), and then get the free app pxaclocker. You can (safely) overclock the TX to about 500mHz then with minimal impact on battery

No, but you can export the audio AND midi to the SD card, or transfer them via the regular Palm hotsync process. Microbe is like a mini Rebirth, and BHajis

I jut picked up a Palm TX and Bhajis Loops (as well as Microbe) for making music on the go. Much easier even than my laptop, and runs for about 10-12 hours
