That s fairly cheap, because the teensy board itself costs 25euros (on german ebay). And the rest has mainly to be imported. Where do you order your parts?

The maneuver I performed for it working again was to raise the contact spring with a nylon stick while pressing one of five keys on the MIDI master keyboard.

Where are you guys located? i will check the voltage on the CPU pin tomorrow, if the IC don t address correctly then it might be related to a bad capacitor.

i agree i recon its a diode or the return circuit to the scanner cpu the scanner cpu gets pulse signals from when a key is pressed0volts to 5volts to zero

from what i read in the service manual, Cheju is right, it could be either the CPU, the Echip/MCL, or the timer. But the fact that the LED and display go crazy

bad signal diode can take out all keys in that octave as seeing your getting midi to trigger the scanner cpu deals with the keyboard and the buttons youcould

Dear folks, My Emax II top 5 range keys faults (from G#5 to C6) no sounds. Playing on MIDI master keyboard there s no problem, all seems to be ok, all sounds.
