If you have an LED, I could actually use it for my running K5m. It is going dark. I truly don t have the time to work on the non-running K5 or K5m. Thanks

As noted, it is primarily the K5m display that need replacing. K5m was running before that. Can not guarantee, only for parts.

Garbage on the display can be caused also by garbage in the RAM. We still don’t know if that instrument behaves normally concerning the sound making. So IMHO

It might be worth resetting the internal memory (internal battery must be unsoldered and resoldered or replaced) first even if you upgrade the EPROM. 1.0 ends
