The easiest way is to just Save the Preset with the arp on, and just use a single note trigger in the sequencer. To record the actual notes to a Pattern/Song

It s fine if the XX-7 receives that signal, My old CS2x used to send that too, never caused any problems. There s no way to disable it, nor any need really.
