Figured it out. To emulate the 4 voice programmer you also want to set each Zone Mode to Rotate. Make sure each zone is on the same channel in MIDI/CV.

Not quite, The 4 Voice rotates through the 4 SEMS in Rotate mode on its programmer, one vice at time, and you can have different or slight different patches on
