Up front, I apologize for my off-topicness.... No cenntenial commisions, 1976 - not ready for primetime yet.... I built my Serge system in the summer of 1976 while living at Serge's Lab, above a massage parlor on Western Avenue! It was the summer in the middle of my MFA studies.

Another opinion from the peanut gallery: I'm interfacing 200e with Serge/Cynthia/Modcan/Fenix/Milton and some older 200 series modules pretty well. I agree that you need to have separate 'pitch buses' for the oscillators and MIDI is probably best for the 200e oscillators. The 225

Buchla modules integrate poorly with the Doepfer/Blacet/Wiard/Paia/MOTM world. The Buchla modules use 0-15 volt control voltages (0-10 volts on the later 200 series) and line level audio signals. The pulse inputs expect a 15 volt trigger pulse and a 7.5 volt gate on the same cabl

Yep, it's mainly a transient thing. But I still contend that the 255 is one of the best new modules to come out of the new batch of stuff. You need something to attenuate or slew-ify voltage, especially if you're dealing with a lowpass gate or envelope step.

The way I use it, especially the audio side of it, is to have all my oscillator outs (including sine waves) fed into it. That means four inputs for each oscillator (261e, of course). You can program different presets that define how much of each you want in your patch. With this

Are you using the 210 with a fixed set of connections as a "base" to build patches on top of, or are you repatching through it freely as you need attenuation & mixing? I don't have my system yet, so this cannot be taken as a considered opinion, but I would think that having a bas
