How does polyphonic mode work? Is polyphony determined by the number of 259e's in the system?

Uploading files to the users group is very easy. Just go to the Files section and choose 'Add File', you then browse your hard drive for the file to upload. Send me an email if you need help. BTW, any word on when your filter should be arriving?

As soon as I get the filter, I'll break out my ole' trusty BR-8 and make a CD of my sonic meanderings. Problem is I have no idea how to upload sound files on the 'Net, but if there's anyone out there who'd be willing to help me do it, I'm game!!

Sure cuari, rub it in our face. That's just cold, man! Come on, there's gotta be a way you can put up some mp3's for us unfortunate 200eless folks. I'd love to hear some of your creations, particularly nonpercussive/nonmarimbalike sounds. : ) --- In 200e@yahoogroups.com, "cuari7"

This forum is totally dead! C'mon, guys, share your experiences! I have been playing with this baby a lot lately, and the polyphonic mode on the 225 is great! I've also learned how to tame these wild oscillators (thin line between awesome, juicy, spicy sounds and just plain noisy

Hi, i wanted to post a small file off a noodle i recorded with a 200e the day i had the chance to spend some time with it. It doesn't address any specific anti-aliasing question, but , to me , is a fair representation of what tonal character i usually associate with Buchla boxes.

It's really hard to find ANY examples of Buchlas on the web. Believe me, I've been searching and keep coming up empty handed. I realize the 200e is just now getting out, but it sure would be nice to hear this beast in action. --- In 200e@yahoogroups.com, "onetwentytwofourty" wrot

The aliasing is evident only in the high register, and with those waveforms that have a lot of overtones. Otherwise, this thing is whisper-quiet! I particularly LOVE the sawtooth from the modulating oscillator in the bass register, as it makes for a really fat (not "phatt", guys,

the triangle, sawtooth and square wave outputs all lie in the same voltage range (0 to 10 volts), so I'd imagine that if one shape would work for you, the others would, too. I tried it out and it worked fine for me.. but perhaps I misunderstand your object. yasi perera > I see wh

I don't believe the 210e inverts. The one at BCM doesn't. it's just a attenuator/mixer

Ok I'm stumped. How do I created an inverted version of a CV to feed to the 281e decay? When I have a voltage raising the pitch of an oscillator, I'd like an inverted version of that same voltage to decrease the decay time of the envelope for that voice. I realize I can do this b

Hi, On the topic of "Stacking inputs = bad": Connecting CV outputs to one another ought to give the average of the two signals. The 281 does this nicely, and one can produce many interesting modulations this way. That being said, other CV outputs don't quite have this property (2
