Any more ideas for exotic future A100 modules?

2006-05-16 by sfrules

Hi, chilluns! This idea is simple, cheap, and desperately needed: A switch trigger In and Out Conversion module for interface with Moog equipment. Appropriate Cinch-Jones jacks would be nice, too. The A-165 Trigger Modifier won't do it. Someone mentioned a simple, but untested, m

Thanks Dieter, I might have to take my chances and see what's available in late August; I'm currently saving every cent for a trip to the UK, Europe and Japan in July/August so I can't really afford to buy any new modules at the moment. If they have run out by then I guess I'll j

Re: [Doepfer_a100] New Module...multi VCO...

2006-05-15 by Silas Johansen

I like the idea of a cheap VCO bank, but you would need tuning knobs for all three osc's. A nice CV input to have in such a module would be voltage controlled detuning of osc's 2 and 3 in opposite directions (e.g. one volt on this input should tune one osc. down one octave, anoth

New Module...multi VCO...

2006-05-15 by Tim J

Hi, I always wanted to see a multi VCO type module. 3 simple VCOs in one module. 1 main cv input for all and offset for tuning the other two. Single FM input and single waveform selector to keep cost down. My idea behind this is that I frequently need to quickly set up a voice an

ideas/opinions on quantizer and (VC) arpeggiator

Hi All, I noticed and enjoyed the recent stream of ideas and proposals for new modules, and although I did vote for most of them, I just wanted to say that for me the following would really be most interesting. 1) a quantizer with 12 switches for each individual note, maybe with

New poll for Doepfer_a100

Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the Doepfer_a100 group: Would you like Doepfer to release an Expansion module for all quantizers (hopefully including A-156) for creating scales and arpeggio's? [A module that would probably contain 24 or 32 jack outputs (+ l

MIDI Din-Sync on ebay

2006-05-15 by Florian Anwander

Hi, this might interest some people here. There is a Korg KMS-30, a really good MIDI to DIN-Sync converter on ebay http://search.ebay.com/7413060125 the auction ends in three hours, and the price is quite ok at the moment. (I am not related to the seller). Florian

Hi guys I am very interested in modules for soundscaping or "noodling". These buchla inspired ones look interesting - but what other modules would I need to get the best out of them? How do you guys use them??? in particular I am not sure where I would route the ouputs from the 1

Adam, right, it's the A-197. The A-197 is running out as the sales are very poor (only a few modules per month) and we are still selling modules from the first series manufactured early in 2004. Consequently it does not make sense to manufacture a new series if the modules in sto

Florian, 2.53 V reference voltage are OK. With this reference you should measure about 0...+2.5V CV at the output A of the MAX512 with 5 octaves jumps. O23 is used to double the CV output of the MAX512 (amplification ~ 2, adjustable with trimming pot P26) to obtain the 0...5V CV
