dieter's reply to a possible multi-vco module.

2006-05-18 by Bakis Sirros

to my question if i should create a poll about such a module, dieter doepfer replys: "I don't think so. If someone wants more than one VCO he should order more ... But a multiple VCO controller (even useful for filters) might be useful - I don't know. We try something similar in

Avanti! This is to elaborate on my suggestion for a new module. One module that does not seem to be available anywhere, but can tie up larger modules is a module to convert Switch-to-Trigger (Moog equipment) and Trigger-to-Switch (almost everybody else's equipment). You can buy a

AW: [Doepfer_a100] wave modfication

2006-05-18 by Dieter Doepfer

We found a simple voltage controlled waveshaping possibility for the A-110 with the new universal vactrol module A-101-9. Connecting a vactrol output of the A-101-9 (VAC1 or VAC2) in parallel to R33 of the A-110 leads to voltage controlled waveshaping of the triangle and the sine

wave modfication

Hi i am interested in modules which can be used to modulate VCO outputs prior to filtering etc. I am particularly fond of using the spectral VCO and partial generator on the old Nord modular and am wondering if either the A116 or A137 would do the trick - not exactly obviously -

Hello Dieter... the A-155 would do part of what I want, defining pulses to be skipped, but I wanted to deal with audio as well. I just realized that I might be able to "skip" LFO pulses and audio frequency pulses with the A-151 switch since it can handle fast VCO rates. So it loo

Many thanks Florian ! This is a very clear explanation to me. So for a 6 bit buffer, 32 adresses would be scanned an their order could be remapped according to a certain control voltage ? Reminds me of a wavetable. Instead of the usual up/down/up+down order, this would mean an al

Hi Bakis, Well, I guess that there are basically 2 uses for any quantizer (correct me if I'm wrong please) 1. correcting/tuning the output from a sequencer 2. deriving note-sequences (melodies, arpeggio's) from any voltage source, like an lfo, adsr, noise, complex envelopes etc.
