Hi everyone. I need to purchase a MIDI - CV converter and would like to use with my A-100 and MAX/ msp, but also with a keyboard. I'm looking for a very versatile unit and so the mcv 24 looks nice with all those outputs. The Doepfer mcv 24 seems like the most powerful/versatile o

Hi, as far as I remember the ribbon controller of the Yamaha CS-80 works that way, that it takes the position, where you touch the ribbon the first time, as the center (=0 Volt) and if you move then your finger it produces voltages which are an offset to this center. Now I am loo

Dear Ingo, Bakis, you're of course right I don't need the feedback to get some form of resonance - but the point was to understand why i couldn;t get resonance using only 4 poles. I'm pretty sure the feedback is internally patched to the 48db - apart from the manual and schematic

I don't own a A108 but I'm quite sure for an "ordinary 24db filter" you will not use the Feedback In. Audio In and Audio Out plus the CV Ins that's it. The Feedback In is a special feature for "non- ordinary" stuff. Regards, Ingo --- In Doepfer_a100@yahoogroups.com, "marrtin606"

If nothing is connected to In 1 the pot will simply add V to the output of the mixer. The V range goes from 0V (fully ccw) up to 5 V (fully cw). E.g. your CV for a VCA is an LFO since it's range goes from -2,5 to +2,5 you will only hear the audio signal if the CV is above 0 V; wh

hello richard, if you do not connect anything on input 1, then the input1 knob acts as a cv /offset source. that means: it adds to the other 3 inputs an offset of 5 volts (or - to +5 volts, if the a138c is the case). so , then, the mixer outputs the sum of the 3 input signals(fro

let's assume that you use an a147 as lfo and an a138a linear mixer (the latest revision). the sinewave has a varying amplitude of -5/+5 volts. feed this sinewave into input 2 of the a138a and set the attenuator for input 2 to 12 o'clock position. this reduces the lfo amplitude to
