I remember that I had the same problem a while ago. I read again in details the MS-404 manual two or three times and finally found that I was wrong when sending program changes to the MS- 404. If this can help you to solve this problem, try to send these PRG changes to your MS-40

Wouldn't it be wicked to upload some generalized bit of audio (drum loop followed by stabby synth sequence followed by talking sample or some such) for folks to run through their various-stage BBDs? I'd gladly run something through my 4096. I could make the sample, even. On Jun 2

hello, agree! also, modular synths are not only for creating "goofy" bleeps and lofi techno. also, it depends on your definition of sounds and goofy, right? you can create fat and warm pads with an analogue modular, but it takes a lot of modules and a lot of time, indeed. so, usu

of course you can create ambient pads with a modular, but you will often want that pad to be polyphonic and that is not such an easy task, because you will probably need really a lot of modules for that. i guess this is the main reason for the absence of such sound examples. virt

If you use a ASys power socket for your Doepfer connector it will be wrong wether you plug it in forward or backward. The pin assignment is different. For example ASys uses 16 pins for +5V, +12, -12 and Com while Doepfer uses only 12 pins for the same volts. Thus if you don't use

Providing you are using a Doepfer bus board with your RS10 PSU there should be no problem. The AD5 plugs into a normal module position on the buss board then takes power from the 12V rail and converts to 5V which it puts on the 5V rail. Rgds David David Salter Senior Project Mana
