Normally a multiple should do the job. Maybe the output impedance of the Kenton is too high and is not able to drive two parallel loads. Even a small gate voltage could be the reason (at least +5V recommended, for multiple loads a higher voltage will be better because of the load

I'd recommed to look at the MCV4 manual (no typing error, I really mean "MCV4"). The MCV4 manual describes the different key assign modes in detail and how they are programmed via Midi program change messages while the MS-404/MCV4 is in the learn mode. Best wishes Dieter Doepfer
