The following Doepfer_a100 poll is now closed. Here are the final results: POLL QUESTION: Would you like Doepfer to release a 5.1 Surround Voltage Controlled Mixer? (separate vcas for all 5 outputs and cv controlled 360 degree panning which could possibly be hooked up to the joys

Before we continue this endless theoretical discussion .... Simply connect the A-100 output to your mixer/amplifier/soundcard ... I've never heard during the last 10 years of any problem with the A-100 impedance. And there is not "the A-100 impedance" as each module is different.

Hi dieter, Its really the A-100 such high impedance? I mean 10k output impedance... In reality sometimes the specifications of gear specified the impedance the output want to "see" ie. the input impedance of the next gear in the chain, not the actual output impedance. For example

The main problem is in this case not the impedance but the audio level. Output levels of electric guitars, basses or microphones are in the mV range (i.e. 1/1000 V) and the impedance is in the MOhm range. The levels of the A-100 are in the Volt range and the A-100 modules have lo

I don't expect any problems with your applications. As long as the voltages applied to any socket are within -12V...+12V we guarantee that nothing can be damaged within the A-100. But even voltages beyond these limits will not damage most of the inputs (e.g. audio inputs and CV i
