No, it not the gain. I tried it with the gain turned down to "1" and I still got it. If I press a key that note will sound until another key is pressed, then it plays that note forever. As for the 606 and SH-101. I have linked them up before, and no problems. I'm starting to thin

Are you sure there's not just gain dialed up on the VCA of the A-100 system? As for your 606 and 101 problem, I used to get the same problem with my SH-101. Be it that I was trying to trigger the sequencer from a 606, 808, 909, MAQ, or Schaltwerk, some notes would hang, some woul

Controlling Doepfer with Roland SH-101

Hello, I have a Roland SH-101 that I use to control my Doepfer modular system via CV & Gate (not midi). I haven't used it for a while, and I have noticed a problem when I tried to record with it yesterday. There is always a constant tone coming out of the Doepfer even when I am n

AW: [Doepfer_a100] new module suggestion.

In principle a modular sequencer with separate units for gate/trigger rows and CV outputs is not a real challenge for us as it's very similar to the A-155. But I think it is necessary also to discuss the mechanical solution for such a sub-system as this the critical part from my

We already had some discussions concerning audio mixers. I'm not sure if the A-100 users are willing to pay a much higher price for an A-100 mixer module compared to a stand-alone mass-production mixer. So you may start a poll but a remark should be added that such a mixer will b

In terms of groove and swinging, does anyone have an opinion on how the Schaltwerk compares to the P3 and TR-909? I know some people that say that the Schaltwerk has absolutely no groove, ie. sounds way too mechanical, no swinging feel available. I have to agree in some regards.
