You simply wont have exausted all your possibilities with other companies kits yet - both efm and cgs do small enough pcbs that mounting isnt an issue, and the 5u crowd, oakley, motm, etc.etc. can be mounted horizantaly if you have enough depth in your case. But, yes, doepfer kit

hello boward, doepfer sold kits many years ago, not for modulars, but for midi/cv interfaces. afaik they dropped selling these kits because of bad experiences with "unskilled" users. assembled doepfer modules are so cheap, i don't see any sense in kits, they wouldn't be much chea
