Well....let me put it this way : If the card looks anything like my card did, forget it. It was impossible to desolder components. Legs and tracks desintegrated just by touching them with a screwdriver. Some would not come of the card no matter how much heat. It was impossible. R

Yes, cmios9 lets you see all of the "metadata" such as loop points, modulation and any notes the programmer left, which is cool. What would be lovely is a system like EMXP which would batch convert disk images to a common format such as SoundFont or Kontakt.

At this rate Rev 5 machines will likely become very rare indeed, and may even become more valuable than Rev 9 machines. It's generally possible to make binary images of any 8" CMI diskette here. Each is about 1MB. Takes about 5 minutes. Others can also do this I think. After that
