Thanks, Matt. Yeah, I think with the DSG's acting as low pass gates I should be able to get by until I can get some proper VCAs. However, I'm not sure I understand what you meant about incorporating the QUO, since it doesn't have any signal input jacks. Did you just mean to use t

Using DSGs or similar as a low-pass gate is a good idea and I was just doing that last night for the same reason. You could try incorporating a triggered VCFQ and the Quadrature Oscillator via its built-in VCAs. Matt

Nice suggestion; Not having a TGO, I tried it with DTG and had a little better results with DSG, but both tend to freeze if you push to high into the audio range. Sweeping with +/- voltages created some fun vowel sounds. I also appreciate it when simple patch ideas are posted. Ev

You could try to troubleshoot the panels and fix the problem, but in the end you would probably have no hair left on your head and be right were you are right now. Find the faulty panel and isolate it with a PS2. Good luck. Cheers -- Bill _________________________________________

No worries! Glad to hear you got it "working". Using a "panel" as a measure of current draw does not work as a unit of measurement - panels are NOT equal and some panels will draw more current than others - e.g. heavily-laden oscillator panels. So a PS12 will go as far as it can

Sounds like the ps4 is getting overtaxed on power-up. the telltale sign is that sometimes cycling the power will get it to go. the bypass capacitors on each module momentarily draw more current when you first apply power to the system. what's probably happening is that the combin
