For the most part yes. Setting up Sound Forge is the same. You might have an issue with the fact that Emax samples are 12 bit, I m not sure all modern sound

I mean to say that with the SE upgrade image in the files section, an emax HD (with the right parts inside i.e. a later model) could be upgrade to emax HD SE.
